| Personal Background | Who is the Murray Home Team?
Mike and Melissa Murray are both native to the Annapolis area and both attended St. Mary’s High School. They are incredibly qualified to assist buyers and sellers in Maryland due to their extensive local knowledge and first-hand experience. In their mind no other place offers what Maryland does, whether it’s skiing in the winter, hiking in the spring, boating in the summer or camping in the fall! Let them find your dream home for you!
Melissa attended Randoph-Macon for her undergraduate degree and recieved her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Melissa was a social worker prior to getting into real estate and skills she developed as a social worker have been indispensable to her real estate career. She has excellent listening skills and is exceptionally trained to guide clients through the stressful experience of buying or selling a home. Additionally, Melissa volunteers for the Anne Arundel County SPCA and the Hospice Cup Regatta. She also enjoys going out on the family boat, a necessity for the Annapolis area!
Mike Murray attended the University of Delaware. He has worked in the mortgage business for the past 7 years and his family has been involved in the real estate and new home construction business in Maryland for over 30 years. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of real estate transactions as well as significant real world experience. He has coached J.V. lacrosse as well as youth league rec. lacrosse and participates in a rec. league for lacrosse himself. Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the Hospice Cup and also enjoys going out on the family boat.

Mike Murray has been in the sales business since the early 90's. Prior to his involvement with the real estate business, Mike sold power boats in California. He has been in the real estate field since the last 90's. As stated before, his family has been in the real estate business for over 30 years.
Melissa Murray graduated with a degree in Psychology from Randolph Macon College. She then attended the University of Maryland at Baltimore where she earned her Masters of Social Work. Melissa worked as a social worker for the Anne Arundel Department of Social Services and Baltimore City Department of Social Services for over 5 years prior to becoming a Realtor.
