| Personal Background | Dottie resides in Northern Baltimore County in a historic home that is listed on the Baltimore County Landmarks and the National Register of Historic Places. Her interests are many and include old houses, architecture, nature, photography, cars, art,gardening and cooking (her recipes have been featured in the Sunpaper and she was a finalist in 3 cooking contests). Three children, a new granddaughter, a wonderful dog named Bear who has his own website www.bearhix.com and a few cats, add to her enjoyment of life.
Dottie attended Towson University and Maryland Institute College of Art. She was born in Philadelphia, attended high school in Moorestown, N.J., moved to Maryland, known for its horse industry. Her stepfather a well known jockey, her mother a trainer and her sister Carolyn, well known in show circles but better known as the girl who rode "Dixie" the Baltimore Colts mascot.

| | Professional Background | Dottie fell into her career by chance. Voluntering for a friend to act as a secretary at his office, until he found another. Thus began her career with a firm known as Chase & Davis in a small office on Pot Spring Road in Timonium. They merged and became Chase, Fitzgerald, Davis and Roland. In 1969 she joined a well known and respected firm of O'Conor & Flynn. By then she had the real estate bug. She has been loyal to the company that she loved and has remained with it as it enlarged became O'Conor, Piper & Flynn, O'Conor, Piper & Flynn ERA , her Pennsylvania license hung in Jack Gaughen ERA, and finally to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage
She has always been active in Pennsylvania and knows the area as well as she knows Maryland.
