EVELYN BRANIC, a native New Yorker, relocated to Washington, DC to attend Howard University in 1981. While in college Evelyn was employed as a P/T news assistant at the New York Times Washington Bureau. In 1985, she earned a Bachelor in Journalism then joined the staff of DC Councilmember, Frank Smith, Jr. She served as the Constituent Services Director/Press Aide and had the opportunity to forge relationships with some of the District’s most prominent civic leaders. She was highly respected for her tenacious work ethic volunteering long hours to strive for perfection in her work product. Her passion working with senior citizens, housing advocates and environmentalists was her impetus to enter real estate sales.
Evelyn started her career in 1987, joining Century 21 Prestige, a newly formed brokerage in Columbia Heights. Over the years, Evelyn has been affiliated with several Brokerages and formed a 7-year partnership with Realtor, Evangeline (Van) Mastriani, whom she met at Dale Denton Real Estate. With over 20 years experience assisting buyers and sellers under her belt, Evelyn posses the necessary skills of multi-tasking, patience and market expertise to assist her clients. She is a full-time licensee serving DC, MD & VA. Aside from residential sales, Evelyn worked as a property manager, condo conversion sales specialists, new home sales, and small investors.
