Coldwell Banker would like to thank the 2008 primary and prize sponsors of the Greater Washington Golf Classic. Click here to see all of the 2008 sponsors.
Your support of the Coldwell Banker Cares Foundation is truly appreciated. The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation is the main vehicle for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s philanthropic and volunteering activities. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage agents and employees guide the organization through the Advisory Committee which administers all of the funds raised on behalf of the organization. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the Greater Baltimore and the Greater Washington areas support the foundation and because there are no administrative costs, 100% of the fundraising proceeds are dispersed to selected partners. The Coldwell Banker Residential Cares Foundation is dedicated to the overall welfare of our communities and we encourage participation in many community support activities and projects including, but not limited to, homeless shelters, soup kitchens and pantries, disease prevention, research and education, family and individual advocacy, environmental clean-up and education and the arts. The companies and the foundation are committed to our communities and will continue to strive to serve and contribute to the mutual welfare of all.
In 2005, the Foundation adopted the Cornerstones of Life Program as its guiding light. The Cornerstones of Life Program aims to strengthen the four cornerstones every individual needs to live a successful life:
Food – by working with many organizations throughout the mid-Atlantic, the annual Harvest for the Hungry campaign helps to restock the shelves of local food banks.
Shelter – in partnership with various Habitat for Humanity affiliates, the Foundation aims to expand homeownership opportunities to alleviate poverty housing in the mid-Atlantic.
Health – the Foundation partners with organizations such as the American Heart Association that make a difference in improving the physical health and well-being of the citizens of the communities in which we serve.
Community – through multiple initiatives, including elementary school mentoring programs, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage agents and employees work to strengthen the communities we serve. In addition our fundraising efforts support a variety of local charitable organizations who are also dedicated to those communities.
The Advisory Committee is led by agent and staff members with representation from the Baltimore, Washington, and Eastern Shore/Coastal regions. The Advisory Committee guides the Foundation and its contributions, fundraising activities and initiatives.
