Evelyn Branic is an active Associate Broker and Certified Luxury Property Specialist affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Capitol Hill office. She was born in Miami, FL, raised in Brooklyn, NY, and relocated to Washington, DC. During her early years in DC, Evelyn attended Howard University, earning a BA in Communications. While studying at Howard, Evelyn was a night news clerk for the New York Times DC Bureau from 1981-1985. She left the Times to pursue a new career in local politics, serving as Constituent Services Director for Ward One DC City Councilman Frank Smith, Jr. Evelyn proved to be an astute advocate for the many needs of her constituents, demonstrating a particular affinity for addressing housing concerns on behalf of her clientele.

During her tenure at the City Council, Evelyn witnessed firsthand what is now known as the ‘DC Renaissance.’ A tremendous financial investment in public works projects and expansion of the Metro system led to the revival of downtown DC and myriad residential neighborhoods transformed the city from a transients’ southern town into a vibrant metropolis; DC had become a sought-after destination for people from around the country and world. Evelyn has served her clients as a full-time real estate professional since 1987. She worked for several Brokers landing her seat at Pardoe Real Estate, which later evolved into Coldwell Banker Realty. She is licensed in DC, MD & VA. Evelyn prides herself on maintaining relationships with her clients to ensure they have the best experience possible. Her clients know they can expect a timely follow-up to questions with a tenacious work ethic. With over 30 years under her belt, Evelyn has experience with a wide range of residential real estate and investment properties. As an Estate Specialist, she works with families during probate property sales. Over the last ten years, this has become her niche market.
