Pet Adoption Event was HUGE Success!

The Pet Adoption Event held at the Coldwell Banker office in Georgetown on Saturday, October 8, 2011 was a HUGE success.  At least fifteen dogs found their forever homes and went home with their new adoptive parents.  Hundreds of people came through and many spent an hour or more visiting with the pets.  The collaborative effort between Operation Paws for Homes and Coldwell Banker was impressive.  The rescue organization as well as many of the pet foster parents commented that this was one of the most successful pet adoptiokn events they were ever involved in.

OPH is a wonderful organization and we are very appreciative of the fabulous job that they did.  It takes a very special kind of person to devote so much time and effort to help find homes for abandoned, defenseless, yet adorable and loving animals.  OPH is an organization brimming with such folks.  We will definitely host another pet adoption event with them in the future.  In fact we plan to host pet adoptions with them in the spring, summer and fall of 2012.  We hope that you will join us.

If in the interim you are interested in adopting a pet into your home, please visit OPH's website at www.ophrescue.org.
